# With MatGoat, HH Academy can focus on keeping growing without stress

At HH Fight Academy, Manu Hernández and his coaching staff previously used MAAT before migrating to MatGoat to keep pace with rapid academy growth in Almería. MatGoat provided the operational framework needed for MMA and Jiu-Jitsu classes, paired with direct technical care.

Result

A smooth transition from MAAT to a single system for attendance, class schedules, and student management, combined with direct assistance that understands combat sports academies.

## The starting point: moving beyond MAAT

Building an ambitious martial arts institution in Almería required software aligned with day-to-day mat realities. The team had previously managed registrations with MAAT, but expanding MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu timetables demanded wider administrative coverage and direct technical communication. Handling separate tools without martial arts specialization created unnecessary friction.

## The switch to MatGoat

HH Fight Academy migrated from MAAT to MatGoat to consolidate their entire daily schedule. Students check in independently upon arrival, coaches inspect member training records without delay, and academy leadership communicates directly with the MatGoat support team.

## A coordinated operational flow for every session

### 1\. Quick check-in

Students confirm attendance on arrival, keeping training groups organized.

### 2\. Consolidated records

MMA, grappling, and BJJ sessions share a single records database without duplication.

### 3\. Direct technical support

Operational questions are answered directly by the MatGoat team without prolonged waiting times.

### 4\. Instructional focus

Coaches dedicate their attention to preparing active fighters and developing new practitioners.
