Set up payment methods

Available payment methods

MatGoat supports various payment methods:

• Direct debit (SEPA): Charge directly from the student’s bank account.
• Credit/debit card: Payments with Visa, Mastercard, etc.
• Manual payment: For cash or bank transfer payments.

Set up direct debit

To enable direct debit payments:

1. Go to Settings > Payments.
2. Select Direct Debit.
3. Enter your bank account details.
4. Upload your ID document for verification.
5. Wait for validation (usually 24-48 hours).

Set up card payments

To accept card payments:

1. Go to Settings > Payments.
2. Enable the Card Payments option.
3. Payments will be processed through Stripe.
4. Funds will be transferred to your account in 2-3 business days.

Create subscription plans

To configure different plans:

1. Go to Settings > Plans.
2. Create a new plan with name, price, and frequency.
3. Define which classes each plan includes.
4. Assign the plan to your students.

Fees

MatGoat charges 0% commission on direct debit payments. For card payments, the standard Stripe commission applies.
