Upload videos for your students
Learn how to upload and organize private videos that your students can watch from the app.
Upload a new video
To add a video to your library:
- Go to Videos in the sidebar.
- Click Upload video.
- Select the video file.
- Fill in the information:
- Title.
- Description.
- Category (technique, defense, etc.).
- Level (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
- Click Publish.
Supported formats
MatGoat accepts the following formats:
- MP4 (recommended).
- MOV.
- AVI.
- Maximum size: 2GB per video.
Organize videos by category
Create categories to organize your content:
- Go to Videos > Categories.
- Create new categories like:
- Guard techniques.
- Sweeps.
- Submissions.
- Self-defense.
Videos by level
Assign levels to your videos so students see appropriate content:
- Beginner: White belt.
- Intermediate: Blue and purple belt.
- Advanced: Brown and black belt.
How students watch videos
Students access videos from their app:
- They open the Videos section.
- Browse by category.
- Can mark favorites.
- Viewing progress is saved.
