Frequently asked questions
Who can refer?
Anyone who does not own or work at the academy: students, parents, competitors or friends of the coach. You just need to make the introduction.
When do I get the reward?
Once the academy pays its first subscription month, after the trial and the 1 free month. We email you within the following 30 days to send it. In total that is usually about two months after sign-up.
What if my coach signs up without my link?
Ask them to mention your name when they register or talk to us. If you also write to us with the academy name, we match it to your record. That is why we ask for the academy and city when you create the link.
Is there a limit on referrals?
No. Every new academy that stays with MatGoat counts. If you know coaches at several academies, you can send the same link to all of them.
Does the academy have to be new to MatGoat?
Yes. It applies to academies with no MatGoat account or active trial in the last 12 months. If your academy already uses MatGoat, you can refer any other one.
Can a coach refer their own academy?
No. Owners and staff cannot refer their own academy, but they can refer other academies and earn the reward just the same.
Which currency is the reward paid in?
The currency you see when you create your link. Pick your country above to see the exact amount. The academy gets its 1 free month whatever its country.
What does the academy have to do?
Book a demo through your link or contact us and mention your name. We run the demo, migrate its data and handle the setup.
Summary of terms
- One reward per academy. If two people refer the same one, the link the academy used counts, or otherwise the first registration.
