Discount codes for membership plans and day passes

Seasonal promotions and introductory offers help martial arts academies attract new students and reward long-standing members. You can now create and manage promotional discount codes directly from the payment plans tab in your academy dashboard.

Every code syncs directly with your academy’s connected Stripe account. When configuring a new discount, you define the parameters that fit your promotion:

• Discount type: percentage off the recurring price or a fixed deduction in your academy currency.
• Benefit duration: applied only to the first payment, recurring over a specific number of months, or active indefinitely.
• Redemption limits: an optional maximum number of total uses to keep campaigns within your budget.
• Expiration date: an optional calendar cutoff for time-sensitive registration drives.

Students can apply the code during Stripe Checkout or enter it through the dedicated discount code option inside the MatGoat app. You can monitor redemptions in real time and deactivate any active code with a single click without altering existing student rates.

Create your first promotion by opening Payment Plans and selecting the Discount codes tab.
